Experience Amy Schenk Weddings. When I arrive at your venue, I will let you know I am there and will begin to capture all the details of your venue, all decorations, reception area, and more!
These images set the stage in telling your story. When you look back, it's important to feel and remember what the day was like from the weather conditions, location, to all of your beautiful decorations and vibe.
01. Arrival
In a noninvasive way, I will then capture both the bride and groom getting ready as time permits. From the bridal party sipping on mimosas, laughing, and smiling to the groomsmen slipping on their shoes and straightening their ties.
Capturing those moments and all those in between, really help to tell your day's story as it unfolds.
02. Getting Ready.
Right before the ceremony, brides have the opportunity to do first looks.
The traditional first look with her father. And more modern with her bridesmaids & her groom. You can use this time to exchange wedding day gifts with each other. This also allows me extra time to capture intimate images of just you two prior to the ceremony with no one else around. You will have a few minutes to get over pre-ceremony jitters and fix any makeup issues due to crying. Not all brides choose to do this, and that's ok! We can certainly get images of just you two directly after the ceremony right before reception.
03. First Looks
When the ceremony begins I capture many details from guests signing of the guest book to floral arrangements and guests in their seats. I capture every detail from you walking down the aisle to your groom's face. As you say your vows I make sure to hone in and capture the emotions of your fabulous parents and their reactions.
04. Ceremony
If you elected not to do these right after your first looks before the ceremony, then right after the ceremony is the time for me to take them.
Typically, this is when your guest enjoy "cocktail hour" right before the reception begins. I capture posed group images of your bridal party along with both your parents and grandparents. I provide a standard grouping list & welcome additional groupings.
05. Formal Pictures
Ready to party? This is where the fun begins.
Typically before food is served I capture every guest table so you can remember who all was in attendance.
I continue to make sure to capture every micro-event during your reception such as toasts, cake cutting, dancing, hugs, smiles, and more!
06. Reception
Once your day comes to a close, let's not forget to capture your send-off as newlyweds.
Whether you decide to use bubbles, sparklers, or streamers, its a fun and fantastic way to finish your day's story.
